Jersey: Shahid Kapoor's Film Gets A New Release Date

New Delhi: Jersey Shahid Kapoor has enough experience “so close and not far” when it comes to the release date. The last film, the last scheduled to be released as of December 31, 2021, was postponed because of the increase in Covid-19 cases. Now, many-awaited films finally get a new release date. This film, Shahid Kapoor star with Mrunal Thakur, will release in theaters on April 14. The news was confirmed by Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, who shared details in posting in the KOO application. He wrote, “The new release date of Jersey was locked: April 14. Jersey starred in Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur to release in theaters on April 14, 2022. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.”

When the release of the film was postponed in December, Shahid Kapoor had shared a post that repeated that the film would have a theater release. In a post, he wrote, “Considering the current situation and new Covid-19 guidelines, we as teams, feel wise to delay jersey liberation. We will see you as soon as possible with our film in 2022. Hopefully every new year new year And healthy. “Before December 31, the film was scheduled to release August 28 but was pushed further because of a pandemic.

Jersey is the story of a Cricketer, who returned to the field at the 30s by joining the Indian cricket team in an effort to inspire his son. This film is a remake of Telugu 2019 film with the same name, which displays Nani in the lead. Both original Telugu and Hindi remake were led by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film also starred in Shahid Kapoor’s father, the Lime Pankaj Veteran actor in an important role.

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the 2019 film Kabir Singh. Incidentally, the Brief Singh is also a remake of the TELUGU hit – Arjun Reddy.
